For thirty years, Chris Peterson has delivered for clients and employers in the government relations, public affairs and political arenas.
Chris launched CP Strategies LLC in 2012 and since has advanced client interests in energy, health care, telecommunications, gaming, transportation, workforce development, infrastructure, education, commercial real estate and agriculture at the federal, state and local levels.
As director government affairs for Union Pacific Railroad, Chris managed state and local government relations in eight western states, and served on the railroad’s federal PAC board. Chris worked four years in the proprietary education industry where he focused on strategic growth including new program development, regulatory approvals and real estate in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington state, and Washington, D.C.
Chris served as communications director and deputy chief of staff in the Governor’s office, staff in the Nebraska Legislature, and has managed successful statewide candidate and ballot issue campaigns.
Chris earned his degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a member of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, the Lincoln Independent Business Association, and Nebraska Advisory Board for the US Global Leadership Coalition. Chris serves on the church council and foundation board of directors for Redeemer Lutheran Church (LCMS), and is treasurer of his neighborhood association. Chris is married and has four children.
Originally from Hastings, Nebraska, Dylan earned his B.S. in political science from Nebraska Wesleyan University. During his time at Wesleyan, Dylan specialized in quantitative research and polling.
Dylan has strong ties to central Nebraska and the greater tri-city area and has been involved with politics in the area since high school, including volunteer work for Congressman Adrian Smith’s re-election in 2016. In his free time, Dylan enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
